YEARLY PROGRESS REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2016-2017

SATYARTH SOCIO a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is established with a view to render it’s services in upliftment of  Educational, Economical, Social, Moral and Cultural backwards of all sections of the society without distinction of  any Kind, Colour, Cast.  Creed, Sex, Language and Religion and to create brotherhood, humanity, honesty and discipline in the society.  This self-help organization have conducted so many programmes in all over India during the calendar year 2016 – 2017 with the valuable contribution & support of it’ honourable members.  Breakdown of programmes carried out in the year are enumerated below :-

(1)  AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME     A  02 days Aids Awareness Programme  was organized by the Organization from 16 Jul 2017 to 17 Jul 2017 at various places of  Red Light Areas of  G.B. Road, New Delhi for sex workers as well as at various Dhabas in the City for Truckers where gathering of Sex Workers, Truckers, Students, RIKSHA pullers, Labourers,  Civilians and Women at large scale was a great achievement for the society.  The administrative support in handling of 146 people  by Police and Administration was highly appreciated. After distribution of AIDS awareness publications and materials on 17 Jul 2017,  President of the Society express his happiness on participation of all section of  society in making the programme a grand success, who subsequently declared this 02 days AIDS Awareness Programme as concluded.

(2)  CHILD LABOURER EDUCATION AWARENESS PROGRAMME.  A 02 days Awareness Programmes on  Child Labourer Education were organized in a big way in Industrial Areas of  Raipur (Chhatisgarh) by the Society from 07 Aug 2017 to 08 Aug 2017 in which 175 Children particularly SC & ST were participants. After distributing of gifts to 175 selected poor Children and thanking local administration for rendering requisite support in making the programme a grand success, the programme was declared closed 8.30PM on 08.8.2017.

(3)    COMMERCIAL TRAINING PROGRAMME.  A 06 days Commercial Training Programme specially in Import & Export Trading from 13 Oct 2017 to 20 Oct 2017 in Industrial Area Raipur (Chhatisgarh) in a big way in which 90 Boys and  Girl students particularly from poor background of SC and ST category took part.After distribution of  Net mosquitos, shoes, sandals. Saries and cloths to all participants, President of the Society declared the programme concluded.

(4)    COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAMME. A 08 days Computer Training Programme from 11 Oct 2017 to 12 Oct 2017 and 14 Oct 2017 to 19 Oct 2017,conducted at Bihiya, District – Bhojpur (Bihar) in which 51 Boy and Girl Students specially from villages participated.  During the entire training programme specially organized for rural students, the cooperation of Staff of Hotel Anandam was experienced appreciable. After distribution of  Gifts on 28 Oct 2017 to all 62 participants, the President of the Society declared the Computer Training Programme concluded.

(5)    CULTURAL PROGRAMME.  A 02 days cultural programme to generate awareness among public against dowry, drugs and to counter bail strident force of terrorism was organized at  Bastar (Chhatisgarh) from 18 July 2016 to 20 July 2016.  A large scale gathering of all sections of society consisting of Working and Non-working Men, Women and Students were noticed. After refreshment and distribution of School Bags  and Netmosquitos on 20 July 2016, President of the Society after thanking Industrialists and Public for making this drive a grand success,  declared the programme as concluded.                                                                                                                                                                                                            

(6)    JWELLERY MAKING TRAINING PROGRAMME.  A 07 days Jwellery Making Training Programme from 02 October 2016 to 09 October 2016 organised by the Society in Varanasi in which 45 students from various districts  as Azamgarh, Sonebhadra and Gazipur of the UP state took part. After address of President of the Society to participants the Jwellery Making Training Programme was declared concluded on 16 October 2016.

(7)    TOY MAKING TRAINING PROGRAMME.  A 06 days Toy Making Training Programme was organized by the organization in Ara District of  Bihar State,  from 11 December 2016 to 17 December 2016 in which 210 men and women participated. Excellent cooperation of  locals was commendable.  After President’s speech, the programme was declared as concluded on 17 December 2016.

(8)  PULSE POLIO PROGRAMME.   A 02 days  Pulse Polio Programme was organized by the Society in Sonebhadra and Mirzapur Districts of UP State from 10 November 2016 to 12  November 2016. After distribution of Net mosquitos and Umbrellas to Adivasi Men, Women and Students residing in the locality,  the programme was concluded at 6PM on 12 November 2016 with great achievement.

(9)   FAMILY PLANNING PROGRAMME.  A 02 days Family Planning Programme was organized by the organization from 11 September 2016 to 12 September 2016 at Chakeri Road Kanpur (U.P.) in which 400 men, women and students of  Kanpur nearby villages took part. After refreshment and distribution of Family Planning Packs to 400 participants the programme was declared as concluded.  

(10)  GANGA CLEANING PROGRAMME .   A 04 days Ganga Cleaning Programme was carried out by the organization from 19 Sep 2016 to 22 Sep 2016 in Varanasi District of UP State in a big way during which cooperation of Boat men, public and local administration was appreciable. After conclusion of public awareness and cleaning up programme the said drive declared as concluded on 22 September 2016.

(11)  YOGA PROGRAMME .  A 01 day Yoga Class was organized at Sewapuri Block in Varanasi District of UP State on 28 Dec 2016  in which a mass scale of public participation including women and students were noticed. After distribution of Yoga Kits and Net mosquitos to the participants the programme was declared as concluded  on 29 Dec 2016.                                                                  

(12)    ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMME.  A 01 day Environment Awareness Programme on 31 July 2016 was organized by the organization in Dispur University Guwahati (Assam) during which participation of University Staff and students were beyond expectation. 04 Environment Experts did a wonderful job in creating dynamic interest in public in awareness.  After distribution of Gifts among participants the programme was declared as concluded on 31 July 2016 at 6PM.
