YEARLY PROGRESS REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2015-2016
SATYARTH SOCIO a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is established with a view to render it’s services in upliftment of Educational, Economical, Social, Moral and Cultural backwards of all sections of the society without distinction of any Kind, Colour, Cast. Creed, Sex, Language and Religion and to create brotherhood, humanity, honesty and discipline in the society. This self-help organization have conducted so many programmes in all over India during the calendar year 2015 – 2016 with the valuable contribution & support of it’ honourable members. Breakdown of programmes carried out in the year are enumerated below :-
(1) MEDICAL HELP CAMP FOR NEPAL EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS- A 30 days Medical help camp was held by the society from 26 April 2015 to 30 May 2015 in Kathmandu and other places of Nepal to protect life of the Earthqauke victims. During this drive the victims were provided with bottled water, Packed Dry fruits, Milk, Biscuits and recommended medicines. The victims were provided with shelter and blanket. Ambulance and stretchers were used to shift victims to nearby hospitals. The President of the organization after thanking local people and Nepal Administration for rendering their valuable support declared this help camp as concluded on 30 May 2015.
(2) GANGA CLEANING PROGRAMME . A one day Ganga Cleaning Programme was carried out by the organization on 31 May 2015 at village-Kaithi district-Varanasi to boost Prime Minister’s Ganga Cleaniness programme during which nets and boats were instrumental in achieving success to the said drive. Support of local people and the administration was extremely appreaciable. The importance of cleaning ganga was passed on to the people of the area in an additional awareness programme by the organization on the same day.
(3) AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME A 01 days Aids Awareness Programme was organized by the Organization on 30Jun 2015 at Lucknow (U.P.) at places of red light areas for sex workers as well as at various Dhabas in the city fror Truckers where gathering of sex workers, Trckers, Students, Rikhsha pullers, labourers, Civilians and women at large scale was a great achievement for the society. The administrative support in handling of people by Police and Administration was highly appreciated. After distribution of AIDS awareness publications and materials, President of the Society expressed his happiness on participation of all section of society in making the programme a grand success, who subsequently declared this 01 days AIDS Awareness Programme as concluded.
(4) CHILD LABOURER EDUCATION AWARENESS PROGRAMME. A 04 days Awareness Programmes on Child Labourer Education were organized in a big way in Industrial Areas of Ramnagar of the U.P. State from 10July 2015 to 13 jul 2015, by the cociety in which 125 Children particularly SC & ST were participants. After distributing gifts to poor adivasis children and thanking local administration for rendering requisite support in making the programme a grand success, the programme was declared closed on 13.7.2015.
(5) COMMERCIAL TRAINING PROGRAMME. A 05 days Commercial Training Programme specially in Import & Export Trading from 20 July 2015 to 24 July 2015 conducted in Varanasi of UP State in a big way in which 125Boys and Girls students particularly from poor background of SC and ST category took part. After distribution of Publications to all participants, President of the Society declared the programme concluded.
(6) COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAMME. A 04 days Computer Training Programme from 28 July 2015 to 31 July 2015 conducted at Varanasi in which 56, Boy and Girl Students specially from villages participated. During the entire training programme specially organized for rural students, the cooperation of JP Mehta Inter College was experienced appreciable. After having refreshment on 31 July 2015 with all the participants, the President of the Society declared the Computer Training Programme concluded.
(7) FAMILY PLANNING PROGRAMME. A 05 days Family Planning Programme was organized by the organization from 12 September 2015 to 16 September 2015 in Patna University campus in which participation of Boys and Girls student were above expectation. After distributing gifts and extending thanks to University administration, the programme was declared as concluded on 16.09.2015 at 6 PM.
(8) CULTURAL PROGRAMME. A 01 days cultural programme to generate awareness among public against dowry, drugs and to counter bail strident force of terrorism was organized at Banaras Hindu Universisty, Distt- Varanasi on 10 August 2015. A large scale gathering of all sections of society consisting of Working and Non-working Men, Women and Students were noticed. After refreshment and Thank speech of the President of the Society the programme was concluded at 6P.M. on 29 August 2015.
(9) ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMME. A 04 days Environment Awareness Programme was organized by the Organization from 23 August 2015 to 26 August 2015 at Moradabad (UP) against Pollution by industries in public residence areas was carried out at various industrial Estates of Moradabad District of UP State. The programme was concluded with Grand success. During the entire Environment awareness Programme gathering of Industrialists and general public were noticed very high. After thanking addresss of the Local Administration. Industrialist and Public for making these drive a grand success, The programme were declared as concluded at Narayana Industrial Esate, New Delhi (Union Territory Delhi) during which participation of nearly 700 people including – Doctors, Engineers, Industrialists, Students, women ect were beyond expectation. 03 Environment Experts did a wonderful job in creating dynamic interest in public in awareness. After distribution of 700 Plants among participants the programme was declared as concluded on 23 August 2017 at 8PM.
(10) JWELLERY MAKING TRAINING PROGRAMME. A 04 days Jwellery Making Training Programme from 02 October 2015 to 05 October 2015 organised by the Society in Varanasi in which 75 students from various districts of Sonebhadra and Mirzapur of the UP state took part. After gift distribution and addresss of the president of the society to participants the jewellery making Training programme was declared concluded on 05 october 2015 at 6 PM.
(11) TOY MAKING TRAINING PROGRAMME. A 04 days Toy Making Training Programme was organized by the organization in Varanasi District of P. State, from 14 November to 17 November 2015 in which 45 men and women participated. Excellent cooperation of locals was commendable. After gifts distribution to all 45 participants, the programmme was declared as concluded on 17 November 2015 at 6 PM.
(12) WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMME. A 05 Days Women empowerment Awareness Programmes were organized by the society, from 26 November 2015 to 30 November 2015 in durga district of Chattisgarh State in which a large number of Women and girl students took part. After Distribution of Netmosquitoes, set of saries and umbrellas to all the 150 women and girl studebts and addresss of the president of te society to the participants the programme was declared concluded on 30 november 2015 at 6 PM.
(13) PULSE POLIO PROGRAMME. A 02 days Pulse Polio Programme was organized by the Society in Sonebhadra and Mirzapur and Bhadohi Districts of UP State from 15 October 2015 to 16 October 2015. The programme was concluded at 6 PM on 16 Oct 2015 with great achievement.
(14) YOGA PROGRAMME . A one day Yoga Class was organized by the Society on Human Rights dat i.e. on 10 Dec 2015 at Bihiya locality of Bhojpur district of Bihar state in which 80 men, students and women took part. After successful completion of state in which 80 men, Students and Women took part. After successful Completion of Yoga Programme. the programme was declared as concluded on 10.12.2015 at 5 PM. ,
